Bad blogger - good stash-alonger
I haven't been so active in writing here, but I haven't been so on my own blog either. I am planning on being a better blogger. Honest!
Even though I have been a bad blogger - I have not been a bad stash-alonger. I have not bought any yarn...but I must confess that I actually was in a LYS yesterday and I even held a skein. Held - not bought! The yarn was 50% off, but I didn't really need more sock yarn. Even if one will not call this a big temptation and so on... I'm still proud of NOT buying.
This whole not.buying.yarn.thing has made me look at my stash in a different way. In fact I DO have all the yarn I need. So far in this stash-along I have not once had a project in mind and NOT have yarn for it. Oh - I know that we have a long way to go still, but at least this holds me up...
It is cool reading about how everyone is keeping (or loosing?) their santiny in this process... Keep up the good work!

Wow, Manne, I have had to totally avoid the yarn shopping opportunities. you have some serious will-power!
I think it is still temptation and good for you for resisting. I normally buy sock yarn when I like it as it is not a big investment. During SOS I plan on actually knitting it up.
