not much planned knitting don3

wanted to check in with everyone.

Not much of my planned knitting done. I frogged my cotton chenille top that I had started - I'm still really, really unhappy with the fabric. I went down to a size 5 needle (the smallest circ I own) and I'm still getting too loose a gauge. So, back to the drawing board. I'm either going to switch to crocheting something with this (I'm thinking maybe cotton hats for one of those chemo-charities) or maybe trying to swap/sell/give it away. We'll see. I'm still thinking.

I am almost done a pair of scrap socks - another pair, I should say. I knit them toe up & I'm on the ribbing on both socks. They weren't on my list of planned summer projects, but hey.

I am working on some hats out of stash acrylic yarn, just basically winging the pattern. They'll be donated to some local charity that could use hats.
