I didn't realize how much yarn I had until it was all in one place.

This is our master bathroom garden tub.
That's not even all of it; some had to be stacked on the floor.

My plan of attack is to have 50 FOs before Labor Day. A lot of these will probably be Critter Knitter blankets for The Basil and Abner Critter Charity Drive. My husband very firmly feels that I shouldn't have any exceptions to my yarn fast, and it's hard to argue when your tub is overflowing with stash. If I need yarn to finish a WIP, I can wait until September to finish that project. If I can do this, then I'll be rewarded with two armchairs for a cozy knitting nook in front of the fireplace.

I want to jump in the tub!
Yikes! That's an impressive stash! You definitely need SoSKAL!
Fifty FOs! I like its alliterative nature and the seriousness of the goal. I think you can do it. And two armchairs for the fireplace is a wonderful reward. What a nice thing to look forward to.
Ok, when you have enough yarn to fill a bathtub and then some, I think it's time to use some of that stash. Wow.
