Hi, My name is...
Shelby, and I have a fiber addiction. I completely lose control whenever I walk into a yarn shop. I started knitting 2 years ago, and since then have acquired 3 large bins of yarn, and a bin of fiber for spinning! I didn't realize how much I had until we had to start packing up for our move. My mom came into town for Maryland Sheep and Wool, and I was showing her the Tess' yarn that I had ordered a few months back, and she saw the part of my stash that is still in the house (2 bins are in storage) and was horrified. She's the person who has yarn in house for 2, maybe 3 projects at a time, but never has more than that. I seriously need to work on this stash problem, because if she saw what I really have, she'd have me committed! Not that she could, but I'm sure she'd try!
My Goals:
To finish some of the many (15+) projects that I have OTK right now.
To start some of the knitting projects that I want to finish up for Christmas.
My challenge:
To finish at least one of my WIPs that are for me. Most are for my 2 year old, and I want to finish one of mine.
And to make time to knit when I'll be in the middle of a move. We move saturday, and I know it will be a busy summer making the new house our home. But I need to keep my sanity too! ;)
Exceptions:
I turn 30 at the end of June, and I can buy yarn if I get a gift certificate for a yarn shop. Otherwise any birthday money goes towards the new house.
I will be placing a Knit Picks order for my SP8, and in order to get the free shipping I need to get it up to 40$. But the yarn I buy will ONLY be for christmas gifts. Not for me.
Reward:
I can save money for some furniture for the new house.

Shelby, best of luck with your move. I do hope you have time to knit what is surely a wonderful stash (I desire Tess yarns, but must wait until the summer passes...)
