...if I order yarn now, but don't take delivery until November?

I'm one skein short of what I need to finish off an alternate pair of (plain) sleeves to go with my son's Skully (SnB) sweater. The Youngest Teen also wants a Skully. I live outside Knitpick's mailing area, but I want to make sure I can get the right yarn, in sufficient quantities.

I can order it now, have it sent to my NYC mailing address and pick it up next time I'm in town--early November. If it doesn't get added to my stash until then, it isn't really added now, is it?
