i was good!
when was the last time you saw so much lovely koigu? i was on a mini-roadtrip this past weekend, and found myself at knit happens in alexandria, va. they had recently received a large koigu order, so the yarn was spread across the floor as they organized and shelved it. i couldn't resist rolling in it. they had some great sales on various yarns, but i left there with only a pattern. i have been on the hunt for some nice size 2 short straight needles, but they didn't have anything special (such as lantern moon) in that size.
so, i will fantasize about the koigu, and continue to knit on these socks ...
i didn't plan for them to match. it just so happened that when i snipped the yarn from sock #1, the color was set up for beginning the mate.
though i have a weakness for fresh yarn, my desire for less stuff in my space is stronger. destash = declutter.

I agree with your last statement so much. My desire for more yarn is strong, but my desire for less stash is stronger. Still, I lurve that photo of you and the Koigu.
