I resisted temptation

Last Thursday I had to go to AC Moore to pick up some circular needles that I needed for a project that I had started the previous day. Of course I glanced at the yarns but it was fairly easy to resist and I didnt even notice if the sugar n cream was on sale. I came out of there with just the needles in my bag.

Saturday I had a tougher experience. I went with a friend to this new yarn store in Sudbury, MA, the store is KnitPurl. As I stepped into the store my eyes were instantly attracted to some Bearfoot sock yarn. A hank of gorgeous red colors was calling my name. I looked at it, petted it, felt it, longingly looked at the price and walked away. I saw some more of his brothers and sisters on the sock yarn wall, the temptation was strong but I walked away again. As I walked around the store another stand caught my eye and there it was again, another hank of that fabulous Bearfoot yarn. Let me tell you, I ended up buying only circular needle point protector and I am mighty proud of that. But once this summer of stash is over, that Bearfoot yarn is mine!

On the stash front, I am working on a Christmas gift scarf from the stash, a Handmaiden silk shawl and I casted on this morning for a pair of Trekking socks also from the stash.
