Resistance ISN'T (always) Futile!

I too saw the AC Moore sale on the S n C cottton, and had a weak in the knees moment - but it passed! I decided the money I was saving AND the space I was saving were worth passing on this sale (even though it wasn't a huge savings in dollars at only a $1 a ball, it is a HUGE Savings in space and since I joined SOS to help me save BOTH, I'm happy with my choice to avoid AC Moore at all costs this weekend. I do need to stop in to pick up some beads for stitchmarkers I promised to make for someone but I will wait til next week when there will be no temptation to "just see" what colors they have *s*

On the stash reduction front, I have finished the MD Baby Kimono # 1 (except for seaming one side and adding the ribbon) and am on sock #3 of 4 for the baby socks I need to complete (no pics of the sock yet, I am waiting till the end of the weekend in hops of having it finished and #4 in progress). Once those items are done, all that's left of my "MUST" knits are a few bibs/burp clothes (more MD Knitting/SnC reduction!). I would like that stuff to be done by June 21 (Summer Solstice!!) so I can spend the summer not only stash knitting but knitting stuff I want to knit rather than knitting stuff I NEED to knit *s*

Happy WWKIP day!

I think it is important to point out the S&C is only $1.69 retail, so even if you bought 10 balls, you are only saving about $7. This seems hardly worth blowing anyone's stash diet.

THIS is the kind of positive reinforcement that makes me feel even better about my choice =)
