I Was So, So Good
I ripped out the yarn from another project, I salvaged every useable end, and I did not buy another skein.
Here's my first official finished stash project--the Brea Bag from Norah Gaughan and Berrocco.
So now, I've not only finished something, but I've used up two skeins of stash yarn. Only like a million to go.
So far, the temptation to buy new yarn has not been too strong. I think that the realization of how much yarn I actually have may have scared me straight for a while.
