my name is chappy. i have a huge stash, i am addicted. it started innocently. i have to drive at least 300 miles round trip to get to a yarn store. so, i felt compelled to purchase yarn at every opportunity presented. especially so when it was a good deal moneywise.

without exaggerating, i have spent at least $3000+ this year so far on yarn. i probably had at least $5000+ worth stash away in my closet (yea, it's 14 ft x 5 ft and has very little clothes in it). thread peddler in springfield, mo put all their yarns 1/2 price; and, john took me to mitchell, ne to the brown sheep yarn company. these two factors contributed greatly to my stash.

i now realize, that even if i live till i am 200 yrs old, i can't possibly use all my stash. I WILL NOT PURCHASE ANY MORE YARN THIS SUMMER. I WILL NOT BUY YARN EVEN IF IT IS 75% OFF THE REGULAR PRICE. I WILL USE THE DELETE BUTTON ON MY KNITSWAP GROUP, AND THE KNITTING FOR SALE GROUP, AND THE STASHBUSTERS GROUP, AND ADD, SELL, OR BUY GROUP, AND THE...............I WILL NOT BUY MORE YARN. I WILL NOT.... I WILL NOT.........

i promise to start knitting and finish all of the 20+ projects i have started. i will knit matching socks to the 31 homeless socks i have. i will, i promise. oh Lord, help me keep this promise. it's huge! it's bigger than i can imagine........ help me.............
