Hello Everyone
Liz just invited me to join and I thought I would pop over and say hi. My name is Kim and I have a stash that I am embarassed to admit to lol!
I have only been knitting for about 2 years now. I started out only buying yarn for specific projects but then something happened and I started accumulating yarn. Sometimes it was because I started something but didn't like how it was turning out. Sometimes I started something and the next greatest have-to-knit project came along so I abandoned the first and bought new yarn to begin something new.
I am going to try to avoid all exceptions. The only possible exception is if I decided to make a baby blanket for a friend that is expecting in July. But it is not a close friend and i haven't made up my mind yet.
I am not sure of a reward, except to by yarn in the fall when I go back to school (I work at a school)
My plans are kind of vague beyond finishing some WIP's. I started the Snowflake and arrows vest from Knitpicks last winter and stopped because of mistakes. That is on the list to finish. I also started the cabled shrug from Winter IK and would like to finish that for fall. I am planning on using up some stash to make a tessalating fish blanket for my kitty! And the first project I am going to finish is the Lace Lana Grossa Cardigan that I am almost 1/2 done with.
I have a blog if anyone wants to check it out.
I look forward to all the support I will have to make the Summer of Stash a success!
Kim
