I freecycled my acrylics
After reading Liz K's post about "Setting the stash free", I decided there was no point in hanging on to the acrylics I inherited. Even the log cabin blanket I was knitting up with it was not pleasing me at all. So I decided to freecycle the yarns hoping to find a new home for them. And I did, very fast. Their new owner is picking up 3 grocery bags full of baby pastel acrylics on Monday. Now, one of my cardboard boxes is almost empty and there is no more yarn hanging outside of the boxes. I feel lighter already!

Look at you go! Sadly, just about everything I have I have a project in mind for .. just have to get around to knitting it.
But .. maybe .. some of the odd balls and skeins ... Ebay is a nice thing.
oh, goooood for you! i'd like to think about my stash in terms of emptying bins, etc. but, if i keep the things i make, they have to go somewhere ! :)
Congratulations! I'm glad that I inspired someone else to think of the yarn and set it free.
