Gift Exception?

I may allow myself to buy a small amount of yarn for gifts, but only if nothing in my stash will work. So many of the people in my life have summer birthdays. I have come up with ideas for most of them that can be made from my stash. However, I want to make this for my goddaughter, and I want the colors to be perfect. (Colors are so important to an 8-year-old.)
