Kit's Goals

Hey there, I'm from over yonder: Hi.

I've been slowly, ever so slowly indeed, gaining a stash. If you wish to see them (I won't burden anyone's internet connection with actual pictures), you are free to click on these four pictures. The numbers indicate projects (well, and a sheepy mascot who oversaw the stash capture).

The Stash
1. Container 1: Worsted Weights, Orphans Skeins and LeftOvers
2. Container 2:Various Sock Yarns and Lace Weights
3. Drawer: Sock Yarns from WEBS and KnitPicks Mainline & Andean Silk.
4. Current Projects: Baltic Stole in KnitPicks Shadow - "Vineyard", Tiger Eye Socks from the book Socks, Socks, Socks in Koigu KPM, and Creeping Vine Socks in Trekking XXL Color #107.

Exceptions
1. I know that I'll want to visit the Yarn Barn when I visit my parents in Kansas.

2. I will happily accept anything from swaps/secret pals, etc.

Goals
1. Finish my WIPs (see link 4).
2. Start and complete a Rogue Cardigan mod (and this time, don't let my mom try to wash it, woe!).
3. Knit up the sock yarn ordered from WEBS in link 3.

Temptations
Sales. I've already had to delete the eBay updates of new yarns of my preference being auctioned off. I'll have to delete the WEBS, Elann, and KnitPicks emails without even browsing. That'll be hard.

Rewards
Hmm, I'm sure my rewards will be the space I've made, the money I've saved, and the FOs I will have.
Edit: I love Gray LaGran's idea for a yarn meter. I think I'll get me one of those if I can keep this up!

Labor Day. Man, I wonder if I can knit fast enough to make some room in my bins.
