Knitting for 4 years adds up
Hey, I'm Tammy from Oregon. I've been knitting steadily for the last 4 years or so, though my grandma taught me the basics probably 30 years ago. My stash has steadily grown as I have expanded my reportoire from scarves and hats, to sweaters, shawls and socks. I like to feel the yarn, and if it is soft, well.... I have yarn for two sweaters, at least two tanks, many hats, many more socks, and the shawls I am working on right now. I have enough stash to last me the summer and then some!!
Exception 1. We have a big, well for Oregon anyways, fiber festival coming up in 3 weeks. I have planned to go since last year. I don't have any projects in mind, but I do know there will be fiber to spin, and that will probably top my list, as well as some more STR from BMFA.
Exception 2. Any extra skeins of yarn for dd's shawl. I have 6 skeins for it now, but she changed her mind on the design and it might take more.
I'm not sure what my reward will be, though there is another fiber festival at the end of September. We'll have to see what happens between now and Labor Day.

Jolene, Did you used to live down here in Beaverton area? I am acquainted with someone in the homeschooling community by the name of Jolene, and I don't think it's a common name, but you might say differently. And yes we should meet up at Oregon Flock and Fiber in September!!
