Sabotage
From my husband, no less. I finally mentioned last night that I'd joined this stashalong, and I'd vowed not to buy any yarn until Labor Day. He just stared at me and asked why. I pointed out that he was the one who said I bought yarn every time I left the house, and he just laughed and said that maybe I liked collecting yarn, and that if it made me happy I should do it.
Men.
Men.

But! At least he said if it makes you happy, do it, right? I mean, he could be a bear about how much you spend on yarn, etc.
Oh, it's only because he likes to buy video games and movies- and if he tells me I shouldn't waste money on yarn, I can tell him not to waste money on that stuff.
butterflylane, are we married to the same guy? My DH never complains about my yarn spending, mostly because he buys CD's (off ebay so not expensive), PS2 games, computer games, etc. At least when I'm done with my stuff I have something useful, provided I finish it! LOL
My husband is the same way, bless his heart! He never complains. He did point out once how much I had spent in one out of control month, but not as a criticism, just as a head's up. I really had gotten bad about spending, so my yarn diet is self-imposed.
Sounds very familiar...every once in a while the husband tosses a little zinger about how much yarn there is in the house and then the next day encourages the habit. Gotta love him...
