Adding up the yardage
This morning I decide to add up all the yardage of my yarn stash. I guess I would have to look back to the beginnings of this KAL to compare with other people's yarn stashes. But here are my numbers:
6689 yds of sock yarn - enough for 15 pairs
5934 yds of other yarn - scarves, hats, sweaters, etc
For a grand total of 12'623 yds... Or a grand total of 7 miles.
Is that a lot? Is that a big stash? Or a small stash? Knowing that I started knitting last November?
FYI, I am currently working on 3 projects. That's about 1129 yds of the stash.

I believe there was someone with enough yarn for over 100 pairs of socks. I'm still jealous of your stash though as it is bigger than mine :)
i'm afraid to add up my mileage ... i'm afraid i would be able to travel around the world, over and over ... or to the sun and back!
Awesome stash! I too am afraid to actually add up all my yarn.
