Uh-Oh, exceptions are required
OK, so in my intro, I gave myself two exceptions: yarn required for commissions but not already in my stash, and the Black Sheep Gathering (btw: e-mail me if you want to be part of the meet-up I'm planning for Saturday, 24 June). Well, commissions have started snowballing in (ah, the power of the internet!)! I used stash for the watermelon felted basket (blocking now, pictures later), Liam's girl doll (as yet unnamed & armless), Addie's headband & monkey (no pictures, I forgot), and Crystal & Janice's strawberry hat & bootie sets (picture of Crystal's set here & here). Unfortunately, I have to get yarn for:
a raspberry hat
a peapod hat
a blackberry hat
a wetbag (lanolized knit wool bag for transporting soiled cloth diapers)
a bumblebee cardigan
and a Flying Spaghetting Monster doll.
*sigh* My stash was taking a significant hit, and now this. It's going to be nearly $50 for all of it from knitpicks (not linking, not giving anyone any temptation), but it's nearly $300 in income, so I guess "you gotta spend money to make money" applies here.

1 Comments:
I think buying for a commission is different than buying yarn just because we're junkies. Congrats on the sales, too!
